The latest image from Disney's next traditional animated feature film has been sighted and it comes courtesy of the annual Walt Disney investors booklet. A golden look at Disney's The Princess and the Frog was included in the document and has made its way to the web, first appearing on The Disney Blog.
The picture shows Disney's newest princess, Tiana. The story is set in New Orleans and will feature the voice talents of John Goodman, Keith David, Oprah Winfrey and Anika Nona Rose as Princess Tiana.
This is Disney's first traditional animated feature since 2004's Home on the Range and the first to feature a princess from an African-American heritage. The picture is being directed by John Musker and Roger Clements who have co-directed together some of the biggest animated features in Disney's second so-called golden age of animation: The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules and Treasure Planet.
The Princess and the Frog is scheduled to open in theaters on Christmas Day, 2009.

This image looks great! Its a major step up from Rosaenne Barr's Maggie the cow in Home on the Range, that movie was just REALLY hard to watch.
