Semi-Pro director Kent Alterman is now attached to Treehouse Gang for David Heyman's Heyday Films and Warner Bros. Based on the spec script written by Timothy Dowling, The Hollywood Reporter mentions that the story is about a group of twentysomethings that have known each other since childhood. They reunite to take part in a treasure hunt that brings back the nostalgia of their youth but also resparks their relationships towards each other. The trade states that insiders that have read Dowling's script call it a grown-up take on The Goonies.
