Have any of you guys run through the new Citadel DLC? It's like a love letter to the series. It's pretty funny, and I had a few laugh out loud moments.

[ omicron ] You do know we have a video game forum, right? [ /omicron ]
yeah Jakester seems determined to prevent me from getting any traffic in the Games forum.
I haven't played any Mass Effect games since the first one. I really like that one, but when the other two installments came out I felt like I wouldn't be able to invest as much time in them as I did in the first one. I played Mass Effect twice - as a "paragon" and a "renegade" - and I probably spent close to 100 hours on it. The reason I generally don't play many RPGs is that they represent a massive time sink for me. I just checked my game time counter in Fallout 3 and it reads 102 hours. Of course, that gameplay was accumulated over a couple of years. With these massive worlds that have so much to offer, I just feel like I have to explore everything and lose out if I don't.
Hicks drops 100 hours on games on a slow week.
Yes, Mal, they can be a huge timesink. I generally get my gaming in at night after the kids have gone to bed, or or Saturday mornings.
As such, I don't play a wide range of games, but find ones I really like and play the hell out of them. What Mass Effect has going for it is definitely the characters and the relationships you form with them. Some of the gameplay elements in the first two are a bit clunky, but the story and characters more than make up for it.

Hicks drops 100 hours on games on a slow day.
Damn it, I was going to say that, but my number-oriented mind rejected it as too implausible. Now I see it's way funnier! (Though to be completely fair, it probably needed my setup to make it that funny.)
Believe or not, I do not get much video game time these days. Maybe 30 minutes a day if I'm lucky.
I only get 30 minutes an hour to touch myself inappropriately.

So you spend the other 23.5 hours touching yourself appropriately?
I think he meant that he gets 30 minutes of every hour of the day to touch himself inappropriately, meaning that he gets 12 hours a day to touch himself inappropriately. The rest of the time, he's not playing City of Heroes.
Right. I can't play City of Heroes anymore. Fucking NCSoft.
I assumed he meant he gets 30 minutes an hour to touch himself inappropriately by Jake's standards. The other 30 minutes he touches himself inappropriately by everyone else's standards.
You are free to choose your own interpretation.

I have no idea what any of that means. So, no.
