The Best Show on TV at the moment?

There is a lot of quality out there at the moment...... and a lot of dross!

So what do you reckon is the best show on TV at the moment and what makes it the best show?

I am thinking it might be The Walking Dead. It has characters I care about, all really well acted. It balances quiet moments and good plot development with jump out of your seat surprises. I think it pushes boundaries with what it does.

Finally, I think it's production values are sky high.

What do you guys think?

After seeing the season finale, I think I could make a strong case for Boardwalk Empire being the best show currently on TV. Fucking hell, this fourth season was just remarkable. Significant upgrade from last year's very very good season 3.
