Another new photo showing Thor in action has originated at USA Today, this one showing off the Norse god of thunder lifting his magical hammer Mjolnir from an outcropping of stone.

The photo appears in an article talking about the lead-up to Comic-Con, and how Marvel Studios prepared Thor director Kenneth Branagh for the intensity of what is to come. "They said to brace myself, that I'd never seen anything like it," said the director of the annual event.

"It's a bit scary, the power and devotion they have," comments the film's star, Chris Hemsworth, about the comic book savvy fans. "A couple of months ago I was feeling secure and went online to see what people were saying. Some people loved we were doing a movie; some people already hated it. I'll never read comments again."
