Watch the first 5 minutes of Sucker Punch

The critics may not have been kind to Sucker Punch, and that may have guided your choice to see a different movie or avoid it altogether, but now you have the choice to test the waters for yourself. Warner Bros. has quietly uploaded the first five minutes and change to YouTube.

The opening sequence sets the film's story as well as features a cover version of Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" sung by the actress who plays Baby Doll, Emily Browning.

What may be interesting to those that have already seen Sucker Punch in theaters is the editing out of a brief moment when Baby Doll presses a gun to the head of her stepfather. For whatever reason someone at WB decided to remove this material out. Otherwise the opening sequence is identical to the one currently playing in theaters.
