when i left Terminator 3, i left saying "wow that was T2 only with a little added bonus ending tacted on... plus it wasnt very good"
this trailer really got me excited.. REALLY got me going. Move the franchise past the time travel crap that's been done before and move the story forward. T3 was a retread and thats it, period. T4 might actually get things going forward and open the door for new ideas and new plots.
i love the line "if you're hearing this then you are the resistance now"
also "it really thinks its human?" "I AM human" <--great line.

The new trailer is really good. But, moreso than the trailer, what will get me into the theaters is that topless Moon Bloodgood scene. The goddamned studio better not edit that out. Okay, okay, that's not the only reason I'll go, but damn, the girl's got an amazing rack!
Seriously, though, or, more seriously, it's great that Terminator is going in a different direction, and I, for one, don't think that Ahnuld is critical to the success of the franchise. He was a specific model of Terminator. Heck, for all we know, there could have been T-800s that looked different. While it'll be cool if he makes a cameo, the concept of the apolypatic future and an AI bent on destruction of humaniy is what's interesting, not Arnold as an unstoppable (sorta) robot.
Also, with a few exceptions, I liked T3 overall. I think the ending really made the movie, though.

The 4 minute internet trailer looks really interesting. However, I'm home alone w/ the boy this weekend, and, really, I think I'd rather see Star Trek before I see a PG-13 Terminator. I expect I'll have to wait 'til DVD for this.
And I'm fine with that, because McG says that there will be 30-40 minutes of deleted scenes on the DVD, including some cool (but plot-slowing) speeches, the Moon Bloodgood topless scene (FUCK YOU FOR DELETING IT IN THE FIRST PLACE, YOU STUDIO CUNTS!), and an alternate ending.
