Drew Pearce, the British writer and producer on No Heroics, used his previous work experience writing about the failing of superheroes to land his new job writing the screenplay for The Mighty. Pearce has just been hired to adapt the comic book series into a feature screenplay.

Screen rights for the DC Comics book The Mighty have landed at Paramount Pictures, with Disruption Entertainment and Benderspink to develop and produce this darker superhero tale. Created by Peter Tomasi and Keith Champagne, the mini-series was a dramatic thriller about a cop that discovers the world's only superhero has a dark history that he's hiding from the world.
