The latest new trailer for The Last Airbender is now out. In related news Paramount has announced that it will release the film in 3D using a similar process employed by James Cameron for his Avatar film.

Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for The Last Airbender. Technically a teaser trailer, the preview does give us our first glimpse at Aang (Noah Ringer) in motion as well as a tiny bit of his air powers. Stick around for the money shot at the end.

Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel has won the part of Zuko, the warlord of the Fire Nation and primary villain standing against the young avatar. Director M. Night Shyamalan said of Patel's casting that the actor was "already one of the guys I was interested in. Then I saw Slumdog Millionaire, and the kid just grew in my eyes." [Full story]
