Science fiction author Ben Bova's B-Four Productions and Red Giant Media are teaming up to develop a movie based on the novelist's book The Immortality Factor. Screenwriter Kevin Fox (The Negotiator) will adapt Bova's book as well as help produce the film along with Grant Turck for B-Four and Isen Robbins and Aimee Schoof for Red Giant.

Originally published under the title Brothers in 1996, the uncut version was released this past April as The Immortality Factor. The story revolves around two brothers, one a scientist and the other a medical doctor, who are at odds over the use of research arising from stem cells but who both love the same woman whose life could be saved by the technology.
