Is anyone watching this?
I saw the first episode, and aside from Spartacus' naked wife, I was unimpressed. The 300 style battle scenes are dull and the blood is clearly overdone for some sort of effect, but the effect it has on me is boredom.
I watched a bit of the second episode as well, and aside from seeing Xena's still amazing naked tits, I'm also underwhelmed.
I watched a few episodes before I gave up. The writing sucks, the story sucks, the action sucks, and the acting sucks. The amount of nudity is the only notable thing about this show.
I might go back and watch it, but it's pretty sad that even the nudity couldn't keep me interested.
Not when you find all the "good" parts on the internet or just fast forward through the episodes on Netflix.
I haven't even done that, except for naked Xena.
So, is it still not worth watching?
I thought the blood was overdone at the beginning, but I stuck with it and am definitely glad I did. It was hella good.

lol I can't believe this has only your post.
The season finale of Spartacus was probably one of the best season finales of the past 10 years. My god, I'm still wondering how any series could topple that madness.
Ratings are up, I hope Andy defeats his illness because Spartacus has been kicking all sorts of ass, writing wise, the final few episodes of the first season.
