Josh Hartnett will star in Gunslinger, a futuristic western that begins filming next year in Canada. The 30 Days of Night actor will play one of a pair of brothers who set out across a post-apocalyptic landscape to kill the gang that murdered their parents. Chris Nahon (Blood: The Last Vampire) is directing.

"This story takes a unique and startling look at what might happen when the lawlessness of the Old West returns ... but with better weapons," said one of the film's producers, Mark Williams. [Full story]
