October 13, 2010 - The Last Voyage of Demeter / Noomi Rapace and Ben Kingsley in talks

Surfing high on her high visibility gained from playing the anti-social Lisbeth Salander in the Millennium series of movies (of which The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was the first chapter), Noomi Rapace is in talks to star in The Last Voyage of Demeter. If she signs and the movie moves forward Rapace would play a female stowaway onboard the ill-fated vessel.

Also in talks to star in the film is Oscar-winner Ben Kingsley (Prince of Persia, Ghandi).
