May 27, 2010 - Logan's Run / Carl Rinsch in talks to direct

Commercials director Carl Rinsch is in talks to become the new man behind the camera for the stuck in development hell remake of Logan's Run. Rinsch, a protege of Ridley Scott, would be the fourth known director of the new Logan's Run project after Bryan Singer (who left in 2005 to make Superman Returns), Robert Schwentke (Flightplan), James McTeigue (V for Vendetta) and Joseph Kosinski (Tron Legacy). Joel Silver and Akiva Goldsman are producing for Warner Bros.

If Rinsch does indeed come onboard a new script will be commissioned.
