Jurassic Park 4 - release date in 2014 announced

Universal Pictures has made the surprising announcement of targeting Jurassic Park 4 for theatrical release on June 13, 2014. The announcement from the movie studio was unexpected, and without any prior indication that Universal was ready to officially greenlight a fourth entry in their dinosaur adventure film franchise.

Steven Spielberg is returning in a producing capacity on JP4 but will not direct this latest installment. The film will also be released in 3D.

Universal has not released any story details concerning Jurassic Park 4, nor has the studio said who will direct the new movie or if any cast members from the first three pictures will return.
