June 11, 2010 - The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I / final Twilight movie officially to become two movies

Summit Entertainment has made it official and split Breaking Dawn into two movies. Plans are still on target to release the first Breaking Dawn on November 18, 2011 and the second-half sometime in 2012. Deals have been struck for all of the series' stars to appear in both Breaking Dawns and for Bill Condon to direct both halves.
