Tron Legacy director Joseph Kosinski is attached to helm Archangels, a new science fiction/thriller described by THR as having elements of the Bourne spy movie series. Written by newcomer Andrew Will, it centers on a soldier in the near future who is a member of a group assigned to stop aliens that slip by Earth's defenses.

Producing the film are Ridley and Tony Scott via their Scott Free Productions company and New Regency. Kosinski will also receive a producing credit. The filmmaker is also attached to a remake of The Black Hole for Disney and Oblivion for Radical Pictures.
