The track listings for composer Tyler Bates' original Watchmen score as well as the music from the motion picture soundtrack have been released.

According to the official website for the film's music located at www.watchmenmusic.com, the soundtrack will go on sale January 27. However, according to a press release issued by Warner Bros. the albums go on sale March 3. A vinyl, old school version of the soundtrack goes on sale March 17. And then on March 24 the Watchmen Music Collectors Edition 7" Box Set will be ready for purchase. This box set contains 7 double-sided 7" picture discs of each Watchmen movie character on one side and the way that they appeared in the comic book on the flip side. The Watchmen Music Collectors Edition 7" Box Set will include My Chemical Romance's version of Bob Dylan's "Desolation Row" along with 13 tracks by Tyler Bates.
