August 15, 2011 - The Crow / Bradley Cooper departs

When The Crow remake finally films it won't feature Bradley Cooper in the title role. The Hangover actor has left the project over a scheduling conflict with Paradise Lost, the ambitious fantasy/religious picture in development at Legendary Pictures. Legendary wants to shoot Paradise Lost next spring, at the same time that Relativity wants to film The Crow. Cooper must have liked the idea of playing fallen angel Lucifer more than a resurrected rock singer.

But have no fear because there are already prospective new Crows circling the remake. Two names have emerged as frontrunners: G.I. Joe star Channing Tatum and the guy that was formerly interested in starring in the movie, Mark Wahlberg.
