Coming Attractions reporter Thruston McQ visited the offices of World Event Headquarters and learned the latest about the hoped-for Voltron feature film:

  • All earlier drafts have been tossed out and the project is in reboot mode.
  • WEP is working closely with Atlas Entertainment and producer Charles Roven on developing the property.
  • At this stage no actors are attached to the project.
  • With the success of Paramount's Transformers movies, WEP and Roven are aware of the possible confusion with the public about the differences between their property and others featuring giant robots that transform. The Voltron producers want their movie's characters to "be distinctive enough to stand out on their own."
