I just watched parts 3,4,5 and 6 tonight... any comments?
I havent watched the original, which is also on Demand so I didnt have anything to compare it against.
i dont think I could stand watching The Prisoner if it had been a regular ongoing series without any answers, just the fact that they wrapped it up in 6 shows with a beginning, middle and end was good... but some of the shows from 2,3,4 seemed as if it were stretching it out a bit.
I liked it, but like everyone is saying, nothing extraordinary. I liked the doctor-chick, she was hot.
one of the complaints i heard about the original show was that when it was canceled, it was never finished and thus left a lot of unanswered questions.
at least this one was only 6 shows so you know you'll at least be getting a payoff. Yes everything made sense in the end sort of.
The original finished it's scheduled six episode run as well. Sure, it left questions, but it was intentional.

It was okay. I thought Cavizel was a little stiff, and I suppose the revelation about the Village was fine. I didn't just go "Oh, that's stupid," and everything shown previously made sense in that context. Still, I was a bit underwhelmed.
I haven't seen the original in a very long time. I should revisit it.
