The Saw game finds a new home
Posted by Patrick Sauriol on Friday, February 6, 2009
Rumor has it that Konami has picked up the former Brash video game title based on Lionsgate's Saw franchise and will release it this October in conjunction with Saw VI.
According to multiple sources across the web, the Silent Hill publisher acquired the distribution rights from Lionsgate after Brash Entertainment went out of business last year. According to the Cut Scene column on Variety, Lionsgate nearly decied to make the Saw game its first official title for a new video game division of its own.
As he did in the Saw movies Tobin Bell lends his voice to the game's Jigsaw character. No one's seen what the game looks like or how it plays just yet but when it does finally come out it will be available for Xbox, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms.
