I don't know why Space Tycoon is deleting all his posts but I'm assuming that something happened on here.

The one thing that I would like to address is that perhaps several people on here have left over comments. I notice that Scarlet hasn't been by here in 5 weeks. I know that she left over a discussion. Speaking as the owner of the site, I liked seeing her arrive here and decide to participate in the conversation. I would like to see more new regulars.

I try not to get involved in the discussions so I'm not familiar with the particulars about Scarlet, Bokchoi, Uncle Agent or Spacey's departures. I would rather see the number of forum regulars increasing, not decreasing. I'm not spending hundreds of hours each year just to write news stories and film database page updates for myself; I'd like to see the CA forums become a larger, wider community every year.

So, if there is a problem that I'm not aware of or users feel that these forums don't appreciate their points of view, I'd like to make it clear that the CA forums are for everyone. Point taken, and agreed with in principle Pat, however it is a discussion forum and people won't agree with everything that everyone says.  It is a bad thing if somebody attacks somebody else personally.  However if you disagree with somebody and their point of view and state why, and they can't handle being debated with, is that not another matter?

I'm pretty sure that Dalty, Mal and ThurstyGoit were just trying to have an intellectual conversation about the issues in Serbia... and Spacey got bent out of shape about something, through no fault of any of those gents.

I was wondering what was up with all of the punctuation mark subjects. 

I think the thing to remember is that, for the most part, we're all friends here.  Maybe we're not all friends with each other, but all of us are friendly with someone here. The thing about that is friends piss each other off sometimes. 

This is a mesage board and we all come here to have fun and talk about things.  Let's not take it too personally.

 Well, that's all well and good Jake, but the thing I have trouble with is...you've pissed me off before, Spacey pissed me off in a variety of ways, hell I was even mad at Goiter for a few glorious minutes once. I agree we're all gonna get pissed at each other at one point or another, but editing as many of my own posts as I could find into punctuation marks is just petty and childish and something I never considered. What he's trying to prove other than he wanted a little attention (which we've given him in spades) is completely beyond me and the whole thing really doesn't make me want to welcome the baby back with open arms once he calms down.

You didn't miss much Jakey.  As the posts are half deleted allow me to give you a quick re-enactment over what actually went down.  I will be paraphrasing and the names will be changed to protect the innocent :

Poster 1 - The sky is red!

Poster 2 - Easy there Mungo, I think you'll find that the sky is, in fact, blue.

Poster 1 - No, the sky is red.  I know the sky is red because it is the same colour as the sea, and I know that the sea is red.

Poster 2 - No, the sea is blue as well.

Poster 1 - I will prove it to you.  Here, read this : www.we_believe_the_sky_is_red.com.  There, proof!

Poster 3 - Well, I don't know about that.  I was actually swimming in the sea a few years ago and it was definitely blue.  I was also up in the sky in a plane a few years back, and that was blue as well.

Poster 1 - Dear Poster 2, what grounds do you have for believing the sky is blue?  Your eyes are lying to you!

Poster 3 - Hellooooo?  Anyone???  Bueller?

Poster 4 - I am thinking that maybe you really do think that both the sky and the sea are red.  However as the balance of proof appears to be that they are, in fact, blue, I would wager that the problem is actually your perception of the colour of the sky and the sea, not the colour itself.

Also, a part of me is a bit sad, considering a lot of the crazy things that people believe, that there is no actual "we believe the sky is red" website.

I was saddened by that also Jubbers.  I had prepared myself to be convinced that the sky is red, clicked on the link, and was highly disappointed.  I felt like I just found out that the island really was pergatory.

That better not be a Lost spoiler!
