Watch a 17 minute preview of The Walking Dead

Looking for more than just an appetizer for what you can expect to see when AMC premieres The Walking Dead on Halloween night? This 17 minute video that has been popping up across the web should service your needs until All Hallows Eve comes around. What I dug is seeing how the so-called "bicycle girl" zombie effect looks like when she's in motion, crawling on the grass.

The preview is also a good primer for what the show is about. If you're getting close to being maxed out on zombies, perhaps after watching this short you'll come to see the potential for a longform drama set in the post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead.

My ass will be in front of the TV Halloween night.  Darabont's excited about it.  The cast and crew obviously had a blast making it and seem very proud of it, and the original author is behind it.  All of those things are very good signs.  Couple that with being on AMC and them not asking that anything be censored, I think you've got yourself a winner.  Plus...ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE!

 According to my wife I'll be at Patrick's house on Halloween night. Perhaps this will be on, eh? Does TelusTV actually carry AMC HD or should I set up the old PVR?

The first episode was leaked last week.  On the 20th to be exact.  Are you telling me you guys didn't download it and watch?  :)
