DragonCon 2010 just wrapped on Monday and I wish that I could have been there. I've been twice to this annual celebration of all things geek, genre and it's great. DragonCon has a vibe that's completely different from Comic-Con in San Diego: less commercial and more fan oriented. Wander the halls outside the rooms where panels are being held and you can bump into anybody.
DragonCon is also big into cosplay and costume. The best looking and most creative fan-made get-ups that I've ever seen were at DragonCon and they ranged the spectrum from people dressed up as their favorite sci-fi heroes and heroines to those wearing the part of a barely heard-of anime character.
Still, in my days of hitting these kind of conventions I have never seen someone dressed up wearing body paint to pull off a look of a movie character. God bless her, this DragonCon patron decided to do just that and made herself appear as Olivia Wilde's character Quorra in the upcoming Tron Legacy movie. When Rebecca Romijn got paid to play the part of Mystique in the X-Men movies, she wore pasties around her naughty body parts. Since I wasn't on hand to see this version of Quorra in person I can only assume that our mysterious lady in question also wore pasties...or else stood in the part of the room where it was warm.

There were a few moderately cute chicks there (based on the pics. I didn't go either).
