When Titanic became the number one movie of all-time, did people dress us in early 20th century costumes, pretend that they were upper-class and lower-class and then dunk themselves into freezing water? Hell no. Then why are people smearing on blue paint, dressing in loincloths and running around winter Wisconsin pretending to be the Na'vi from Avatar??

Discovered on YouTube is this short video that shows people from the Wisconsin Live Avatar Role Playing group (c'mon, this has to be fake....right?) communing with nature and staring hard at scantily clad female members of their "Tribe". I was thinking that this had to be a video made by Funny or Die or College Humor, but it looks like the vid was uploaded by a user account named "poolworldwide", and there's a couple of other videos on their channel showing other segments of fandom like Furries or augmented reality game-playing. I think these guys are into role playing but they're also cool enough to poke fun at their nerdy fandom.
