It may come as a shock but next week marks the thirtieth anniversary since the release of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Since then we've seen advances in special effects, particularly with computer generated effects, that, if Empire were made today, would change the way it looks and feels.

But let's not wonder what The Empire Strikes Back if it were to come out in 2010. Instead, wouldn't you be more interested in seeing what Episode V might have looked like had the movie been made and released in 1950?
