Exclusive: Game of Thrones season 2 roundtable
Game of Thrones’s second season, based off of George R.R. Martin’s novel A Clash of Kings, is blissfully due to descend on us in just a few weeks’ time. And though anticipation for the show’s return couldn’t be higher, there seems to be a growing undercurrent of tension or concern among both the fan and journalistic communities. Showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have changed the name of Asha Greyjoy, Theon’s sister back on the Iron Islands, to Yara? The way-cool storyline the crippled Bran Stark has back at Winterfell might be cut and moved to the third season? Daenerys Targaryen’s minimal presence in the novel might be dramatically expanded – with action scenes?

Tron: Uprising coming in 2012
Disney has been amping the hype for its upcoming Tron Legacy movie for almost a year. With print, theatrical, gaming, collectible, clothing, theme park and social media marketing being done, it's clear to see that the company has re-considered the financial viability and consumer interest in this 28-year old franchise. With all of the Tron ancillary goods and marketing being done, for those of you born before the release of the original 1982 film it might be hard to believe that Tron bombed in theaters back then.

Watch a 17 minute preview of The Walking Dead
Looking for more than just an appetizer for what you can expect to see when AMC premieres The Walking Dead on Halloween night? This 17 minute video that has been popping up across the web should service your needs until All Hallows Eve comes around. What I dug is seeing how the so-called "bicycle girl" zombie effect looks like when she's in motion, crawling on the grass.

In 1982 Ridley Scott gave us Blade Runner, based on the Philip K. Dick novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? While Blade Runner was a bomb on its release, and didn't attract much critical reception, the years have been kind to Scott's vision of a run-down future that's supposed to happen just seven years from now.

Trailer: Stargate Universe season 2
When the Stargate franchise's newest product made its debut last year the fanbase was split over whether to like Stargate Universe or not. Those fans that didn't enjoy the show seemed to find that its subject matter and tone was too far removed from the days of Stargate SG-1, while those that did like SGU noted that was precisely the reason why they liked the new series.

Locke and Ben, the Lost boys, may have found Odd Jobs
If you watched any of Lost's six seasons then you might perhaps agree with me that, while the storytelling and revealing of secrets was a turbulent ride, the acting of the ensemble of actors was excellent. Two of the breakthrough performances came from Terry O'Quinn, who played John Locke, and Michael Emmerson, who played Benjamin Linus. Emmerson won a Best Supporting Emmy too, which is a nice thing to have on one's bookshelf or mantle at home.
