Were you watching the season finale of Boardwalk Empire last night you would have been treated to a short taste of things to come in the second season of Game of Thrones.

The 47 second teaser trailer features narration by Stephen Dilliane who plays Stannis Baratheon, the brother of the late King Robert (played by Mark Addy last season on the show.) Stannis is now reaching out to claim the Iron Throne and rule Westeros, silencing all opposition and securing his power base. Yeah, I'm sure that's going to go down without any opposition.

The second season of Game of Thrones premieres on HBO in April 2012.
