Magneto in drag in X-Men: First Class outtakes
Posted by Patrick Sauriol on Thursday, August 25, 2011

In the 40 years that Marvel has published X-Men comic books, there hasn't been one instance where the master of magnetism dressed up in sexy women's clothing. Maybe. Well, I'm pretty certain the answer is no.
Leave it to the X-Men movie universe to cross that barrier and have Magneto in go-go boots, a short blue dress and redhead wig. The moment comes in a deleted scene from the lastest X-Men movie, X-Men: First Class, when Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and Xavier (James McAvoy) make a proposition to mutant stripper Angel (Zoe Kravitz), asking her to show her mutant ability if they come out and show her theirs.
Magneto is first to display his power by levitating the metal champagne bucket beside the bed. In the theatrical release, the action moves to Angel unfolding her wings, but in this deleted scene that you'll be able to see on the X-Men: First Class DVD, Xavier displays his ability to project a mental illusion to Angel by making it seem that Magneto is wearing sexy girl clothing.
There's a brief preview of the scene in a new Japanese trailer for the movie, which you can watch below, again and again and again.
