James Bond 23 back on and out in 2012
Posted by Patrick Sauriol on Tuesday, January 11, 2011
The 23rd James Bond movie has come back to life. MGM made the announcement today that the as-yet untitled new 007 movie will begin filming in late 2011, for a November 9, 2012 release.
But something has changed.
It's not Sam Mendes (Road to Perdition, Jarhead, American Beauty) who remains onboard to direct the movie. And it's not the husband-and-wife producing duo of Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, who will help make the new spy movie. Instead, it looks like screenwriter Peter Morgan (Hereafter, The Queen) has exited the production. Instead, there's a new writer listed: John Logan (Any Given Sunday, The Aviator, Star Trek: Nemesis). Also listed as writers are Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, which marks their fifth outing as writers on a James Bond movie.
And just in case you were concerned, MGM reiterated that Daniel Craig would be back to play James Bond for his third time. No other actors were mentioned.

just gimme a decent Bond flick... that's not asking too much really... not like the last movie where you had dead Bond chicks that died by forced oil consumption (WTF???) and an exploding hotel in the middle of nowhere.... I didnt care.
start to slink into familiar territory with the inside of the gun barrel graphic that should start EVER Bond flick and Craig shooting.. and at the end... end it with the words "James Bond will return..."
i'll be happy.
