Hangover stars set to make $15 million each for three-quel

Posted by Patrick Sauriol on Wednesday, January 25, 2012

How much are Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifainakis and Ed Helms worth to Warner Bros. to star in The Hangover Part III? If this report is accurate, the magic number is 15 million -- as in dollars, each, to star in the sequel.

Warner Bros. is reportedly in talks with each man to lock them in for Hangover III. The studio wants director shooting the movie this summer. This time the shooting schedule may be easier for everyone as the events in the new movie take place in L.A. If Warner Bros. can make its schedule The Hangover Part III would be out in theaters in time for Memorial Day weekend next year.

Cooper, Galifianakis and Helms each made about $1 million dollars for their work in the first Hangover movie. For The Hangover Part II the studio raised their paychecks to the $5 million dollar range, plus with a lucrative backend profit participation on the $581 million dollars worldwide gross, the three actors ultimate take-home pay went into the mid-teen millions.

For Hangover Part III, that same backend deal would apply -- so if the third movie performs just as good as the first two, the trio could stand to make $20 million dollars or more each.

Director Todd Phillips is coming back to make The Hangover Part III.
