The final season of Lost arrives in February
Posted by Patrick Sauriol on Thursday, November 19, 2009
The first episode of the final season of Lost is now scheduled to air Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 9:00 PM. The season premiere is two-hours long. Immediately preceding the start of the season premiere there will be a one-hour recap of what's gone down in the past five years.
ABC isn't letting any secrets out of the bag with its lead-up to the premiere. So far the advance promotional material has not shown anything from season six. In the dying moments of season five of Lost there was a bright white flash which is leading many Lost-ies to suspect that the timeline was changed thanks to the actions of Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell's character.) Speculation abounds that what we'll see in season six is events from two different timelines, one following the course of events had Juliet not altered the timeline, the other showing what is going on in the original timeline. But for now it's all conjecture and theory, leaving fans of Lost to speculate as to their favorite theories until February 2 comes around.
Lost's sixth season will run for 18 episodes.
