Clash of the Titans 3 being developed
Posted by Patrick Sauriol on Thursday, November 3, 2011
Even though we're still more than a full season away from the March 30, 2012 release of Wrath of the Titans (a.k.a. Clash of the Titans 2), Warner Bros. has hired two writers to start work on Clash of the Titans 3.
The two writers are David Leslie Johnson (Orphan) and Dan Mazeau (who penned the script for a proposed Jonny Quest movie.) Both have worked with the movie studio before on other projects as well as contributed to the screenplay for Wrath of the Titans.
Today's story breaks from The Hollywood Reporter, which goes on to mention that Clash of the Titans 3 will bring back Sam Worthington's heroic character Perseus. It may also return Perseus' sidekick that's introduced in Wrath, Agenor (played by Tobny Kebbell.) That part of the scoop is unconfirmed though, and could change as the story for Clash of the Titans 3 gets developed.
The early commitment to developing a three-quel is becoming the norm at Warner Bros. Two months back the studio announced development on the screenplay for Sherlock Holmes 3, even though the first sequel, A Game of Shadows, doesn't open until December. Work also began on Green Lantern 2 before the first film opened.

Whatever the official name of the 3rd movie is, I won't see it unless it rhymes with Clash and Wrath. For that matter, I won't see the second one either if the third one hasn't announced a rhyming name by that time. Also, it has to make sense. They can't just call it Hash of the Titans.
