Paramount Home Video announced that The Complete Indiana Jones Blu-ray Collection will arrive on store shelves sometime in 2012. Unfortunately, we don't know if that date will be sooner or whether it'll be around Christmas (and the holiday buying season.) In any case, all four Indy movies (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Indiana Jones and theSecret of the Crystal Skull) are coming to Blu-ray, and the set will include bonus material.

Here's the short announcement that Paramount issued this morning:

"The man with the hat is back – and looking better than ever! The world’s favorite globe-trotting archaeologist is, at long last, embarking on his greatest adventure – when The Complete Indiana Jones Blu-ray Collection comes to Blu-ray Disc from Lucasfilm Ltd. and Paramount Home Media Distribution. The Complete Indiana Jones Blu-ray Collection will be excavated in the fall of 2012 and will include all four of Indy’s thrilling adventures, using the highest possible high definition picture and audio presentation – along with a 'best of' collection of documentaries, interviews, featurettes and a few new surprises."

How much of the Collection's bonus material will be brand new and how much will be from previous releases? That's the big question to pause and consider if you're on the fence about adding this set to your home video collection.

A suggested retail price has yet to be stated.
