To accompany the new poster for Whiteout, Warner Bros. has launched the film's official website and debuted a new trailer for the thriller.

There's a trailer for Whiteout that you can watch but we're not certain if it's going to be the official one released to North America. According to most of the commentaries that we've read across the web the material in this video was seen two years ago at Comic Con International, so the jury's out for now if this is the official trailer or just something to hold our interest in the film for the time being.

Even though the movie is still nine months away from hitting theaters, Whiteout has already been given its rating by the Motion Picture Association of America. It's has been rated R for violence, grisly images, brief strong language and some nudity.
