Jack Black is producing an animated feature film set in the world of cryptozoology, the study of animals that are said to not exist. Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, the Cupacabra and many other supposed mythological monsters fall under this mantle.

Black is making the movie with his business partner Ben Cooley and Chris Meledandri. While the comedian is developing the project at this time he's not attached to provide a voice to one of its characters as he did with Kung Fu Panda. The screenplay will be written by Jason Micallef (Butter).
