A group of Norwegian and American scientists and workers stationed in Antarctica discover a crashed alien spacecraft under 100,000 years of ice and one of its occupants. When the group thaw out the alien they unleash a terrifying creature capable of imitating not just any one of them flawlessly but also the forms of the other creatures it has assimilated. A prequel to John Carpenter's 1982 movie The Thing.
