I fail to see the appeal of this movie.
Secretariat dominated the competition in his Triple Crown run, so much so that in the final race only 3 horses were running against him.
This ain't exactly the heartwarming story of a little horse with the heart of a champion overcoming incredible odds to nose out victory.
This is the story of a superhorse; a horse with a heart nearly THREE TIMES the size of a normal horse (this has been found to be a genetic 'defect', and Secretariat's heart was even abnormally large compared to other horses with the defect) that made this the only horse in history to run each quarter mile in the Derby faster than the one before. He was accelerating the whole time.
Oh, hell. Fine, I'll go see it.
