Normally one wouldn't expect to see a Prometheus original content video on the website for Verizon, but there it is. The cellular company hosted a viral video titled "Quiet Eye" featuring Noomi Rapace as Dr. Elizabeth Shaw being interviewed in a Weyland company video.
The old school Alien fans will find it very interesting that the company name "Yutani" flashes on the screen before Shaw's interview begins. What does it mean?
And another Verizon video offers some new behind-the-scenes footage and interviews of the Prometheus cast members:

Check out this short featurette about Prometheus that offers quick new snippets of new footage from the movie. Blink and you'll miss moments like the android David (Michael Fassbender) sitting at the control panel of a Space Jockey's ship and Vickers (Charlize Theron's character) ejecting from Prometheus.
Oh yeah, and Ridley Scott has some stuff to say about his movie, too.

Empire has posted a follow-up article to their Prometheus cover story/set visit. This new piece, titled "19 Things We've Learned About Prometheus" does reveal minor spoilers about places, people and incidents that happen during the film, and which fans of the Alien series will be giddy about. We're going to reveal one minor detail and not use the spoiler swipe because it's a minor (but still cool) piece of information that connects Prometheus to Aliens.
Empire learned that the planet the Prometheus ship visits is given the designation LV-223. Of course, fans of James Cameron's Aliens know that by the time the action in that film takes place, the planetoid where the Space Jockey ship was found is designated LV-426.
More minor spoilers can be learned by reading Empire's article.

In an exclusive interview with Empire magazine, Prometheus director Ridley Scott is asked whether his latest film will carry an R-rating (like the original Alien did) or if the rumors are true and the studio is demanding a PG-13 rating. The filmmaker dealt with the question in his own way and gave this answer:
"Right now I don’t know where we are. The question is, do you go for the PG-13, or do you go for what it should be, which is R? Financially it makes quite a difference, or the risk makes quite a difference, and yet you also have to apply the question — if you soften it, will you financially suffer? As opposed to just going for the throat and gambling. Essentially, it’s kinda R. The little bastards will still get in anyway, so what’s the difference? It’s not just about blood, it’s about ideas that are very stressful. I’m not an idiot, but I’ll do everything I can to get the most aggressive film I can."
Empire also has several new photos and interviews with the supporting cast members of Prometheus. Some new details about the crew members are given in the profiles.

Coming Attractions creator Patrick Sauriol has written an exclusive article for the site that presents his concerns about how Prometheus may fit into the Alien universe, and whether the revealing of the big mysteries contained in Alien (namely about the origins of the Space Jockey and the Alien eggs) may be a bad thing.

A video was released today that shows for the first time the character that Guy Pearce plays in Prometheus: Peter Weyland, the industrialist whose surname is used in one-half of the Weyland-Yutani corporation's namesake. That business owned the space vessel Nostromo in Alien and the atmosphere processing plant in Aliens. And this video connects the world of Prometheus to the future ones of Alien and Aliens.
In this viral video (which is actually hosted on the real TED website) Pearce as Weyland pretends to give a speech at a TED conference talk in 2023. Listen closely and you'll hear him lay the foundations for what could be a driving force in the last third act of Prometheus, especially when Weyland talks about the original legend of how man stole fire from the gods.
There's also a website that promises there will be more marketing events to come shortly: weylandindustries.com.
This bio of Weyland listed on there that has even more connections to the technology seen in Alien and Aliens:
Peter Weyland has been a magnet for controversy since he announced his intent to build the first convincingly humanoid robotic system by the end of the decade.
Whether challenging the ethical boundaries of medicine with nanotechnology or going toe to toe with the Vatican itself on the issue of gene-therapy sterilization, Sir Peter prides himself on his motto, “If we can, we must.” After a three year media blackout, Weyland has finally emerged to reveal where he’s heading next. Wherever that may be, we will most certainly want to follow.

In a new article which features an interview with Prometheus screenwriter Damon Lindelof, the Los Angeles Times also ran a new photo from the movie showing Noomi Rapace standing in the corridor of a biomechanical alien vessel. Although it's dark and gloomy, you can just make out two tall standing beings off to Rapace's right -- and there's our first piece of proof that the Space Jockey race will be seen in Prometheus.
For his part Lindelof talks about Prometheus in terms of an epic. "The movie is definitely epic in its scope. One of the filmmakers that we ended up talking about to a fair degree of redundancy was David Lean, who directed Lawrence of Arabia," the writer states. "We wanted to make the movie feel big by having the characters be small in big spaces. That connected to the larger themes we were talking about — that we're all just these little gnats crawling around on our little planet."
