When French TV personality/comedian Daniele Rizzo got the opportunity to do interviews with the cast members and director of Prince of Persia, he went the distance and made a memorable impression by dressing up as the grown-up future son of Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton's characters. The reactions from the movie's cast make watching the video worthwhile, especially the way that Ben Kingsley decides to play it in character as the film's villain.

Prince of Persia producer Jerry Bruckheimer believes that his video game adaptation won't be heavy on the suck. He's even got a little bit of evidence to back up his claims: his movie performed better than the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie in front of a test audience.
"We tested the movie a few weeks ago," Bruckheimer told Sci Fi Wire. "It tested extraordinarily high. It surprised me, because I always think these things are going to fail, but this one turned out great. The women [loved it]; I was surprised. I thought we made a terrific movie for the boys, but the women flipped over this film. I've never had a score where the parents—and there is violence [but] it's PG-13—the parents rated the film 100 percent excellent or very good, which never happens. So it's one of these movies that we know they'll take their children to go see it, which is a huge advantage for a film, if the parents think it's cool that the kids can see it."

Entertainment Weekly was given the opportunity of publishing the first released image of Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan from the film and also got this nice quote from the star about getting his hands dirty doing some action scenes: "I'm tired of taking myself so seriously... It's nice when a stuntman turns to you and is like, 'Actors don't normally do this.'"
