Screenwriter David Koepp will direct his second film, an action-thriller titled Premium Rush. The Ghost Town director wrote the screenplay for Premium Rush with his occasional writing partner John Kamps. Gavin Polone (Zombieland) will produce while Columbia Pictures will distribute.

Variety describes the story as centering on a NYC bike courier that is targeted by a corrupt city cop wanting an envelope on the courier's person. The studio is fast-tracking the project and is looking to shore up casting a leading man soon.
