Paramount Pictures has bought the spec thriller Patriot Down. Written by Ian Stone, a second assistant director for Steven Spielberg on many of his most recent films (including Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), little is known about the premise except that it involves the American President stuck in a dangerous situation.
Kevin J. Walsh and Brad Weston are producing.
