Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's comic book Nemesis has been optioned by 20th Century Fox, with Tony Scott (Unstoppable) attached to direct and Scott Free Productions to develop the project. The four-issue series (of which two issues have been published so far) is about a masked villain called Nemesis, a billionaire that uses his wealth and exceptional mind to attack police forces and governments around the world. Millar originally thought of the Nemesis concept as this: what if Batman acted like The Joker?

A screenwriter has not been assigned to work on the project just yet.
