The original Highlander was a box office disappointment when it first came out in 1986 but it later became a home video hit, spawning four sequels and a popular syndicated TV series that had just a slight connection. Many are those that would say Highlander was a great movie but that the movies that followed tainted the well. Here's a chance for the new Highlander creative team to get it right and shape the remake so that the series can get a second shot at becoming a strong fantasy franchise.
