Mandeville Films has optioned the indie comic book series Cla$$War as a potential movie. This wouldn't be Mandeville's first adaptation of a comic; they also produced Surrogates, the Bruce Willis action film that debuted in cinemas last month. The comic, which was published from 2002 to 2004, involves superheroes but in a political thriller format. It was created by writer Rob Williams and illustrator Trevor Hairsine. [Full story]
