DreamWorks Animation is developing three movies with ghostly qualities. Boo U. is one of the trio and follows a ghost who must return to spook school in order to become a better haunter. Freakers is another project which is set in the ghost world and the third project remains shrouded in secrecy, its title and premise unknown (but it is less further along than the other two.)

Igor director Tony Leondis is directing Boo U. from a script by Jon Vitti (The Simpsons Movie).
