Accounting to this report published by Latino Review, one of the two as-yet unrevealed Marvel Studios movies in development will be a live-action Black Panther movie.

The site claims that they've confirmed the news through four of their sources, and that a movie featuring the Wakandan hero is as good as happening.

Documentary screenwriter Mark Bailey has been hired by Marvel Studios to write a screenplay for a Black Panther movie.

As The Hollywood Reporter mentions in their story, with having such credits as Pandemic: Facing AIDS and Ghost of Abu Ghraib, Bailey seems like an unusual candidate to write a screenplay for a superhero movie. But in recent years Marvel's Panther character has been given something of an update, and the superhero has seen himself presented with complex political issues concerning Africa's internal conflicts and its precarious world position. When viewed in that light, perhaps the hiring of a scribe like Bailey makes the most sense for a modern day Black Panther movie.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is a producer on the film, which is currently not set up at a studio.
