too true.... "I'm waiting for my hand to start to vanish just like in Back to the future" <---LOL!!
those two are hilarious!
what happened to Daniel faraday? Where is desmond...
I assume Desmond is still with Penny living out of their boat, 30 years into the future.

x2
I'm assuming Daniel Faraday is Dead or that he turned the donkey wheel and vanished.
I was also speculating if Desmond made his way back to Eloise Hawkings, she would have the manifest of all the planes flying over the island and he would pick the next flight and land on freaky island but in some other time period.. not 1977.
Perhaps Desmond is tied or linked to Daniel Faraday's death or dissapearance.
Faraday's not dead (yet). I think he just pretty much lost it over Charlotte's death.
On the subject of missing characters.....
Has anyone in the Lost cast gotten arrested for a DUI this year? If so, I guess we know who will get killed off next. ;-)
the actor that plays Jin is the only LOST actor to have a surviving character after being arrested for a DUI.
I have read a shit-boat-load of LOST Spoilers for the new few upcoming episodes today... quite facinating reading... and MOST dont take place in 1977.
Dead is Dead. Wow.
Ben is a gigantic prick, isn't he? I'm more of the opinion that the monster didn't let him live so much as made him live.
But is he really guilty about Alex's death, or is it something he thinks he feels because he loved her at one time and thinks he needs to feel guilty to pretend to have any humanity left? He claims to selflessly serve the island, but he only really serves himself, but why? What is his endgame?
What were the symbols in the room he fell in? They looked Egyptian, which lends credence to the statue being that of Anubis or another greek god.
Also, someone posited that the monster isn't nanobots, but tiny, magnetically controlled metal filings. That's as logical an explanation as I've heard, and it would seem to fit everything the monster can do. If you magnetically bind enough filings together, it can grab someone, vibrate at the right frequencies to make sound...not sure about the video, though.
Not sure about Ben's agenda.. In one day, he's a complete a-hole, then he wasn't so bad, now he's the prick of the week again...
JJ really likes to throw his audience out of whack and keep them guessing.
Ben has been doing everything in his power to do whatever Jacob tells Locke to do. As Christian pointed out "we told YOU to turn the donkey wheel. you let Ben do it and where did that get you?" (it actually GOT people to not listen to John Locke over Ben Linus - Had John been the one to move the island as instructed, perhaps the people that got off the island would have actually listened to him and come back without listening to Ben the A-hole)
The Hurley/Miles teamup continues to be great. I loved all the Empire Strikes Back stuff and Hurley vs. the bad smell.
true, very true... but sometimes I wish they'd actually give Hurley something to do other than be a comedic element for Miles, Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Locke, Jin, Sayid... hell of the whole cast, Hugo is practically the C-3PO of LOST.
It was nice that they finally admitted that Hurley can "see" the ghosts of deceased people and its not just inside his head. You never know with Hurley if he's crazy or sane or just crazy off the island.
x3 about his nitpicking on TESB.
Sawyer's situation seems to be getting worse at every turn. I wonder how long will they be able to cover one another until a screw put an end to the farse and they have to get outta Dodge. And now with Daniels back ...
Faraday is back, where was he all this time? Where did he go and who went with him? Sawyer, Jin and Miles must get to Faraday before he talks to Jack and Kate... (or perhaps Sayid gets to him first!!)
Wow. That clip show enlightened nothing.
You actually watched it? I turned on the TV to find that we were getting a "new" recap episode and turned it back off.
Well, it was on the DVR, so yeah. They did the recap pretty much chronologically, though, which was mildly interesting.
That sounds kind of like watching Memento in chronological order. It's kind of interesting to see it that way, but not quite as much fun.
I thought it was mildly amusing the way the "re-introduced" Jin back into the cast - completely cutting out his adventures with Danielle Roussou and crew, having him magically show up on the island and meeting Sawyer in 1974.
the buzz at work is that this is a big elaborate plot to "fix" Frank Lapitus' guilt wridden concience that he wasnt flying Oceanic Flight 815 the FIRST time around and that by the end, he'll be the pilot and save the day.
I disagree, I see a meeting between baby Alex and Sun's baby (or Desmond and Penny's kid) in the future, having them return to the island to pull off a successful rescue attempt.
I don't want to sit through the whole clip recap show. Did the recap include where/when we last saw Daniel Faraday?
no. wait.. we last saw Faraday coming out of the submarine. The recap stopped when Charlotte died of a nosebleed I think they had just arrived in 1974 and Locke had teleported off the island and stopped the island from skipping through time.
We last saw Faraday with the rest of the Losties, wigging out about Charlotte. When we went forward three years when Jack, Kate, and Sun show up in Dharma-land we've no idea what's up with Faraday.
Tonight's episode of Lost will be one of those "Oh SHIT!" episodes. Mark my words.

So, what did we learn in this week's episode, "What Happened, Happened."
1. We learned that the title is true.
2. Jack is still a douche
3. Juliet, Kate, and Sawyer would not kill Hitler as a kid.
4. Kate allowed (in fact asked Alpret to essentially turn Ben the Boy into Ben the Other.
5. If Jack had gotten off his ass and saved little Linus, things may have been different. I say "may" because we don't know if there was some other event in the past that would've turned him.
I think the only safe way for Ben to not turn into an Other would've been to let him die (or, you know, cut off his head or something). Fucking Juliet, Sawyer, and Kate. Seriously.
