Erm.... well actually I am. The global population went over 7 billion this month, and it has doubled in the last 50 years. Based on my d.o.b. I have it on good authority that :
When I was born I was the 4,079,427,900th person alive on Earth.
I am the 78,443,404,742nd person to have lived since human history began.
It's all clever stuff. Using UN Population Division figures, with an estimate of how many people were alive on my d.o.b. crossed with global population figures and estimates of growth rates over time.
Then throw in calculations based on the methodology of Carl Haub, who estimated how many people had been alive since 50,000 B.C. His calculation has been amended by the UN to include additional points in time.
What's your d.o.b. Goiter?
